Full Circle

As a child, my mother would send me to Alabama to spend the summer visiting my grandmother in Alabama. I lived in California, and I HATED TO FLY. I'd cry and was terrified of flying. When we went on family vacations, I would hold onto my mother or father the whole flight. There was a shift when I became an adult. I still didn't necessarily like flying, but I knew I would need to hop on a plane to travel and see the world, which I loved to do.

In my twenties, we did girls trips to Jamaica, Dubai, in my thirties, couples trips in Jamaica, family trips to Mexico, Hawaii, the islands, traveled all across the U.S. for work conferences, a wedding in Dubai, Florida, my dream trip in Santorini and the list goes on.

I actually enjoy flying now because it makes me feel closer to God. It allows me to get more profound clarity, and I actually wrote this blog on my way home from Atlanta. As I looked out of the window and glared at the beauty of the clouds, it hit me!! This is a full-circle moment. I can remember the days that I hated flying, and now I enjoy it. WOW. They say the same things that make you cry can make you smile.

So I ask. What is it that you feared in the past or fear now? I challenge you to look at it as what you need to do TODAY to overcome that fear? Your blessing could be on the other side of your fear. I had a choice; I could take another method to see the world. Let's use a train; for one, it would take me longer to get to my destination by train verse flying. Traveling by train doesn't have access to destinations surrounded by a body of water (which I love). I could stay home or overcome my fear of flying and do what I love. It's time to get over those fears and experience what's on the other side.

God, thank you for allowing me to partake of your beauty and experience this full-circle moment. I pray that every person reading this will also experience your best for their lives and have their own full-circle moment. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen.

Love,

Authentically Tee
